Projects

Oy FENNOSCANDIAN Resources Ab has the following four key projects under development, all in Finland:

The Viistola graphite project is located in near Finlands leading historic mining town Outukompu and consists of a 97 km2 claim reservation area covering a more than 20 km long airborne EM anomaly shown to be associated with graphite bearing schist. The project is next to paved roads, grid power and plentiful water, and 20km from regional city center Joensuu (pop 115k), with its own international airport.

Five historical diamond drill holes intersected extremely high grade graphite bearing schist over an area measuring 2000 m along strike. The graphite in the drill holes where intersected over significant widths with contents ranging from 25.3 to 36.2 % C and averages 30.1 % C. The sulphide content is also very low compared to other deposits in the world, averaging 1.8 % S.

The Geological Survey of Finland ("GTK") estimated based on surface diamond drilling, rock chip drilling, trenching and geophysics an ore resource of >4 Mt averaging 28.6 % C within a 700 m long zone.

Flake size distribution analysis were conducted on a 4.7 m long section in drill hole R311. These results identified that a significant portion of the graphite is referred as medium– to large flakes.
